Trekking Itinerary
Arrival Day
We will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle from your arrival point or hotel anywhere on Lombok Island and transfer you to Senaru. Upon arrival, check into your provided accommodation. If time permits, enjoy a guided walk to the nearby waterfalls before returning to your hotel for rest.
Day 1: Senaru – Crater Rim (2,641 m)
After an early breakfast at your hotel, we proceed to the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601 m) for registration. The trek begins through dense tropical forest, with short breaks at Pos 1 and Pos 2 for snacks and rest. We’ll stop for a longer lunch break at Pos 3 (2,000 m).
After lunch, we continue ascending towards the crater rim. As we gain elevation, the scenery changes from forest to grassland, and the trail becomes steeper.
We camp for the night at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m), where you can enjoy spectacular sunset views, including Mount Agung in Bali, the Gili Islands, the peak of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak, and Gunung Baru, the active volcanic cone within the crater.
Day 2: Crater Rim – Segara Anak Lake (2,000 m)
After breakfast and sunrise at the rim, we begin the descent into the crater. The path is steep and rocky, winding through dense vegetation.
We reach Segara Anak Lake by midday, where we pause for lunch and set up camp by the lake. The rest of the afternoon is free for swimming in the natural hot springs, fishing, exploring the lakeside, or simply relaxing.
Day 3: Lake – Crater Rim – Senaru
Following breakfast by the lake, we retrace our steps to the Senaru Crater Rim for a short break and snacks. We then descend the same forested trail back to Senaru, with a longer lunch stop at Pos 2.
We expect to arrive in Senaru around 4:00 PM. From there, transportation to your next destination will be provided.
