Embark on a four-day, three-night hike to summit Rinjani, starting from Senaru Village at 601 meters, ascending to the Senaru Crater Rim, then to the lake and hot springs, followed by a climb to the Sembalun Crater Rim, reaching the summit, and finally descending to Sembalun Village.

Trekking Itineraries:

Arrival Day: We will pick you up in an air-conditioned car at your arrival location or hotel on Lombok Island and transfer you to Senaru. Upon meeting us, you can check into the provided hotel in Senaru. If time permits, we will guide you on a walk to the waterfall and then back to the hotel.

Day 1: Following an early breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601 m) to register and begin our trek. The path leads us through a lush tropical forest to start. We will take brief stops at Pos 1 and Pos 2 for rest and snacks. At Pos 3 (2,000 m), we will pause for an extended lunch break. Post-lunch, our journey continues towards the crater rim, with the terrain transitioning from forest to grassland as the incline grows steeper.

Our campsite for the night is at the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m), offering panoramic views of the sunset, Mount Agung in Bali, the Gili Islands, the peak of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak, and Gunung Baru, the new volcanic cone inside the crater.

Day 2: Following the sunrise and breakfast, we begin our descent into the crater. The path is steep and strewn with rocks, winding through dense forest. We pause for lunch by the shores of Lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) and establish our camp. The afternoon offers time for swimming in the hot springs, fishing, lakeshore exploration, or just unwinding.

Day 3: Following a relaxed morning, we savor lunch by the lake before beginning our ascent from the crater. The path is steep and occasionally slippery. We spend the night camping at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 meters), where we are treated to spectacular views of the sunset, Lake Segara Anak, Mount Rinjani’s summit, and the northern expanse of Lombok.

Day 4: We rise at 3 a.m. for a light breakfast and then begin the demanding three-hour ascent to the summit, which stands at 3,726 meters. We reach the top in time to witness the sunrise, the ideal moment to take in the breathtaking panorama.

Afterward, we return to our campsite on the crater’s edge for a warm breakfast and some rest before we start our descent to Sembalun. We take a break for lunch at either Pos 2 or 3 and reach Sembalun, situated at 1,156 meters, by early afternoon. From there, transportation to your subsequent destination will be arranged.
